Friends

All I can say is that I love that my girls are so close in age! They are cute cute little buddies. Amelia goes everywhere Carolina does and every time Amelia wakes up, Carolina is the first one in the room, yelling "GOOD MORNING" with her arms thrown up in the air! Cute girls! I love being a mom!My sweet girls! We went down in the basement and found both girls in the cupboards playing! It was so funny!

Halloween!

It was a very fun Halloween! We woke up Saturday morning ate breakfast and carved the pumpkins! It was fun. I of course thought I would be smart and do a stencil carving. Freak I did a spider and it was the most intricate and hard thing ever. Oh well. We went Friday afternoon to Peters office and went trick or treating to all the cubicles. It was so funny, Carolina was not in the mood. We went and got Little Caesars pizza for dinner and Peter and Carolina went off Trick or Treating around the street. It was freezing cold and raining, but cute Peter braved the weather and took Carolina. She had so much fun and when she go home she laid straight on the floor in front of the fireplace. When kids would come she would open the door and take some of our candy when the kids would. It was awesome. Of course before Carolina and Peter went Trick or Treating Amelia was sound asleep for the night! Bless her soul! Later that night Peter Carolina and I went over to our neighbors the Neeley's and watched the Utah football game! Carolina's favorite friend KJ lives there and she had the time of her life. It is really sweet when your kids start making friends! Carolina didn't go to bed until 9:45pm. We paid for that on Sunday.
All and all it was a great weekend and I love my sweet little family.

Peter took Carolina Trick or Treating to a couple of houses in the pouring rain! She loved it tough.

We had to dress incognito for the Mall Brawl for the young men and young women activity, I didn't realize how skanky I looked until I saw this picture. But we were not found! What up!!I carved a spider in my pumpkin. It was awesome, but I didn't get a picture. Oh well.

Carolina's version of carving was stabbing the pumpkin all over with the picks and knives. It was so funny. Cute girl!

The Pumpkin Patch

Last year Peter and I decided to start the tradition of going to a pumpkin patch and picking out our own pumpkins! We thought this was way fun last year, Carolina was not all that interested, but we still decided to do it again this year! It was a blast! Carolina was totally into it, going from pumpkin to pumpkin searching for perfect pumpkin, it was great! Even Amelia was acting very interested in it all. It was great.

Peter and I really want to have family traditions that will be great memories for our kids and for us. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing husband and such adorable kids to go out and do these fun activities with. I love my family.

New tricks!

I love sitting around with my girls and seeing all the things that they come up with. I was sitting in the kitchen with Carolina and Amelia while they ate lunch and Amelia looked up at me and showed me her new trick!

She does this every once in a while, but this was the first time she did it. I was laughing so hard.

And cute Carolina wheres the same hat everyday! I had to take a picture so that she will one day know what I am talking about! I love that she has an opinion and wants to express herself! Savanna introduced her to the word "cute" for whatever reason it didn't sound as cool when I said it, but she says it all the time now when she wears a hat or I do! It is hilarious!

Life changes all the time!

Wow, it has been crazy around the Black household the last little while! My computer crashed with every picture we have had and so far have only been able to recover a couple, which is very depressing!
Life is great though! Peter started his new job at CBRE and it is a major blessing in our lives. It has been a big change for Peter going from warehouse to office space, but to our surprise it is exactly the place for Peter, and his bosses are great! We feel truly blessed to have this opportunity for Peter to work. So if any one needs a new office space in Utah, Peter is the guy to go to! He works for two of the top agents in Utah Scott Wilmarth and Tab Cornelison, so Peter is happy and in turn we are all happy.
It was fun to spend Saturday with my adorable sister Kara and celebrate her birthday with her. I know it was not the funnest thing for to have me dragging my two monkeys around with us, but it was really fun to get and be with her. She is such an amazing sister and I am so glad to have her as my sister and friend. All in all life ma not be as expected for us, but we are incredibly happy and I am the luckiest girl in the world to have such and amazing husband and two beautiful little girls. I love life!

After being you sick this past week it was amazing to look at my two little sweet girls and realize how amazing they have been with me being so sick! Carolina was nicer than ever which isn't saying a lot because she is the sweetest girl all the time, but I would be curled up in a ball freezing to death and she would come up to me and say "Okay mom?" "You kay?" and Amelia bless her soul started sleeping through the night! I can't believe that I am so blessed with the best little girls in the world!
Amelia got left out of the pictures form Carolina's birthday so she gets a couple more this time! At her last doctors appointment she had only gained a pound and the doctor said she was too skinny, so I have put her pretty much on bottles only and I think she is getting more food now! She is the cutest little squirt, I hope she can gain some weight soon, because if in a month she has not put on a couple of pounds, she is going to go through some extensive tests, so we are praying that I was just not producing enough for her! Her reflux seems to be getting bad again, I went through three different outfits for her today, so hopefully that can work itself out as well. Sheesh! Carolina was told she was on the skinny side as well, but the doctor was not too worried about it, so what does she start doing the last couple of days? Yep she's not eating! Give me a break starving kids. GEEEEEE!!
None the less we are doing our best and love our kids like crazy!

Finally documenting my family

Peter and I have wanted to do this for quite some time now, but I have been to distracted. None the less here I go.
I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have an amazing husband that does such a great job supporting and taking care of his girls! We have two beautiful girls Carolina and Amelia. Yesterday was Carolina's birthday, and can I just say she is hilarious! Grandma Black took her birthday shopping and she got to pick out her gift. Carolina chose a bag which came with clip on earrings and a matching necklace! Carolina did not ever want to take them off! We were over at the neighbors and I asked Carolina if she wanted to help me make her birthday cake. She did not even hesitate, she yelled YES! while running full speed to the house. It is so great to see her grow up understanding things and seeing her personality bloom.
Carolina I am so glad that you are my sweet little monkey. You are the sweetest girl in the world, thanks for coming and being my little girl! You are the nicest big sister and we have so much fun playing with you and hearing your stories! I love you.
